Not authorized to access any iPad TV app

I used to be able to watch tv apps on my iPad using my Direct TV log in before the AT&T change over. I have called DirectTV support, obtained a new password and when I try to use that password on the TV apps such as ABC, NBC etc. it logs me in fine, but when I click to watch a show, I receive a 0033: customer is not authorized to view content. Both of these stations are part of my paid TV package and used to work fine. Why am I no longer able to watch the shows on the iPad apps?

My iPad is new, up to date on iOS 12.0.1

Hi @BH3000,

The conversion should have prompt you to register an AT&T access ID at https://soc.att.com/2Sq3e0l;

Next, use https://soc.att.com/2SvDi34t or DIRECTV App to stream via AT&T Access ID, to help narrow down possible causes for this error message. Let us know how it goes.

Hi Dee,

Thank you you for the response. I already have a new acces log in for https://soc.att.com/2SvDi34t and can log into that link just fine. The same user name and password will not work with the DrievtTV app as says that the user name and password are not on file. Regardless I am still receiving the error message when I try to watch tv shows on the major network apps when using my Direct TV log in. As mentioned this was NEVER an issue until AT&T took over Direct TV. I tried calling customer support over the weekend and was placed on hold then hung up 3 times in a row. I would like to get this resolved as I use my iPad when traveling. Thank you.
