My app has Florida stations on it. I can not record to my DVR from my phone the stations do not match my home stations.

With your question you presented on app has Florida stations on it. You cannot record to my DVR from my phone.
The answer to your inquiry is the feature to record from your phone with the app to your DVR is not a feature. You can record from your DVR to watch recorded show later from the app.
