13 ABC
Is it true that Uverse is discontinuing carrying 13 ABC effective this date? I hope that this is not true, I don't want to change providers. 13 is one of our local primary channels and an important part of our TV line up. Will be very disappointed if this happens especially with the exorbitant price we pay just to be able to watch TV!!

It is normal for contracts between local television channels and cable/satellite/digital providers to come to an end. That does not mean that you will automatically lose the ability to watch that channel on your provider.
In almost every case a new contract is signed without any interuption in service. There are occasional exceptions, but it is rare.

It's an OTA channel. A lot of those shows can be streamed online via ABC.com.
With an antenna, your OTA PQ is probably a bit better than compressed via a pay-TV carrier.

There was a message on the 13 ABC Toledo, Ohio website indicating that 13 ABC has given AT&T until midnight tonight to sign a new agreement. The website said that after midnight tonight, ABC 13 will no longer be available to AT&T U-verse subscribers.
Instead of blaming AT&T for the possible loss of this channel, subscribers need to call 13 ABC and ask why they punishing their loyal viewers by taking away 13 ABC from U-verse subscribers.
