ACC Network on ESPN app

When will UVerse customers be able to access ACC Network and ACC Network Extra on the Watch ESPN app?

@BDHeart

This is a peer-to-peer (customer-to-customer) forum. Employees are allowed to post here and their accounts are tagged as being AT&T employees.

99% of the users of this forum don't know the answer. Some might, but they also may not be authorized to say.

I'd suggest contacting ESPN or AT&T directly.

Hello, Since you're posting in the U-verse forum, I assume you have U-verse TV.  I just did a quick test of this on my iPhone and yes, a popup does indicate ESPN and ATT are working together the enable ACCN to be viewed from within the app.  The popup also suggests watching ACCN on the TV.  In this case, it's possible to use the U-verse app on smartphone or tablet to stream the channel.  One of the better perks of watching this way is you can actually watch a channel like that and stream over cellular data free.  You wouldn't be able to do it using the ESPN or any streaming app.

Thanks for the reply. I was specifically wanting to see about accessing the ACC Network Extra and on demand content that is not on the TV channel. Guess I will have to ask ATT when they will finally have it available

Gotcha.  Hopefully you’ll get all functionality once they get the entitlement working.

Wait. If I use the U-Verse app to watch TV, it doesn't use data? Is that just AT&T mobile devices or all? I'd imagine only AT&T.

Try running the app while on cellular. A message should appear to talk about data free.  And yes, this applies to your device on AT&T 's mobile network.  Find the cellular data settings to ensure they're set correctly.
