anyone switched from U-Verse to ATT-TV?
Wondering if the TV channel interface is much different or better/worse in some way or does it depend on what you are using for the app such as AppleTV/ROKU/SmartTV/Set-top Box?
Our contract is up in a couple months, U-Verse is being deprecated and I'm also wondering if the CS reps get any bonus for retention or for switching me to ATT-TV?

No bonus or retention.
The product formerly known as AT&T TV is now DirecTV Stream. I believe they have a short trial. Keep in mind if you cut U-Verse, you cannot get it back. If you choose to keep it, there currently is no final date of service.
Even if your discounts expire, you can always see if you are eligible for new ones. I haven't paid full price in years.
