Black Box in Middle of Screen

@atroutman - The only thing I can think of for u-verse is CC. CC is toggled by the red C button. See if it looks like that. Have you ruled out the TV? Sounds like a Toshiba I once had.

Swap with another STB to see if it stays with the TV or follows the STB.

Is U-verse the only input on this TV?  If so, does it only happen on U-verse or on more than one input?  Trying to figure out if the TV or the TV Receiver is generating the box.
