I'm going to assume that anyone that worked on the code up to their supervisors that approved it, have never used the old online guide that was powered by yahoo.
I've already missed 3 shows because of the new guide and being forced using the guide in the app.

I had to reinstall my browser, and I thought the problems with the guide were due to losing my Firesfox settings. I just spent almost 2 hours chatting with the online help desk about how to add my favorites back. They had NO idea what I was talking about, and couldn't find a solution.
Agreed: without favorites the wra is clunky and time consuming! I am beyond annoyed.
Is the favorites feature available on the app? I don't really want to use my phone for this. I saw that the Uverse app is rated about two stars, and I'm not inclined to download it.
It's bad enough to have to pay for the 150 (maybe 175) channels out of 200 that I NEVER watch, but now I can't even quickly go to the content I want to see.
Is anybody from ATT listening to these forums????
Another vote for 'Bring back the Favorites' for online access.

I normally visit this site each morning--now it is pointless.
You select "My favorites" and it tells you to click on the star. Is anybody seeing a star?
Plus, they have removed the cast/director information. It makes a difference to me if the movie stars Jennifer Anniston or Angelina Jolie. Just ask Brad Pitt.
I tried a online chat with support. They said they would have to "check on this end" and then the chat ended.
This has got to change, but who can we reach. Don't they try to use a new site before putting it online?

Yes, the functional Web Remote Access web page has been replaced by garbage. Is anyone at AT&T reading all these posts?? I haven't seen any threads praising the change. YOU MADE A MISTAKE. Its simple to fix. Just put back the old page!!!

U-verse for iPhone has favs, but did not rotate to landscape. So it does not show much.
The easy remote apps seem to freeze looking for STB, so it does not work at a remote location.

Just noticed another feature now abandoned: The ability to record a show with one lick on the button in the upperleft of box.
So we've now mentioned several useful features that are gone, has anybody found a useful feature that has been added?

sorry, that should read "click", not "lick". Although I admit I haven't tried licking....

I do not know where this post should go. I guessed and put it under DVR, but it may belong here. Could not fit it under the 4 topics allowed.
Trying to view channel guide at http://uverse.com/uv/guide
All I have gotten for two days is “Sorry, no channels match your filters.”
No filters were on. HD off and “All Genres on”.
I can view my recorded shows and my shows scheduled for recording on the DVR.
But no channel guide at all.

mpw101: Where do you live? I'm in the Greenville, SC area but my default zipcode is showing as an Atlanta zip code. If I attempt to put in the correct zipcode, it tells me that AT&T UVerse doesn't have service in my area.
You have the identical problem that I have had since the rollout of the new layout last weekend. I have a case # and AT&T says that they have identified the problem.................but it's still not working and it's Thursday afternoon.

When I first go to the channel guide at http://uverse.com/uv/guide the zip code is 75104 (Cedar Hill, TX) and the date is July 03. After I sign in there is no zip code and no date. I can’t find a place to enter my zip. I am on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi.

mpw101 - That is amazing. When I sign in I get the correct zip code & schedule, But, I do not know where it came from & see no way to change it.
Before logging in you can change the zip by clicking on the one that appears pre sign-in. I do not know if that will change it for you when yo sign in, Give it a try.
If ot does not work, call in & ask the tech toi set it for you. LOL
You can also use the app u-verse for ipad.

aviewer: I can change the zip code to a zip that it will accept (around 15 miles from me......... before logging in) and see the correct menu for the tv schedule but because I'm not logged in, I can't schedule or change any programing. As soon as I log in it reverts to the same problems with not being able to see the schedule but I can now see what's already recorded and scheduled on the DVR. But, I can't delete, add or change any of those that are showing.
AT&T says that they were not aware of the problem until I notified them on Monday morning. I've exchanged over six emails with a senior tech at AT&T Social Care since Monday morning but they still can't fix the problem. There's probably quite a few people who have this problem who don't know it since they may not use the remote content menu from their PC but I use it almost exclusively to schedule and change programs since it's much easier to change scheduling via the PC than using the tv menu.

Looks like you both have the same problem & att is working on it. All I can suggest is if you can get your hands on a portable device give the u-verse app a try.
I believe the guide selection is different for the app than the web site. It is good on a tablet. On a phone it is too small. It works on an ipad. I do not know about other platforms.

Jack 7451,
"AT&T says that they were not aware of the problem until I notified them on Monday morning. I've exchanged over six emails with a senior tech at AT&T Social Care since Monday morning but they still can't fix the problem."
Is there anyway to let the AT&T techs know the problem is on the coast of MS, not just Greenville, NC?
If it was as widespread as you suspect I would think there would be more posts to this topic.
