Cannot play protected content through a proxy (QP1521)

This is the error I get when trying to use the at&t U-verse app on demand or live it's not allowing me to watch anything. Any reason why?

Thank you for reaching out to us on the AT&T Community Forum! I would be more than happy to assist with this issue.

 

With a problem occurring on an application, the best thing you can do is try deleting the application itself, and then re-download it. You can accomplish this by pressing and holding the application until an X appears it. When you press the X button, this will delete the app. Then, you can access the App Store to get this re-downloaded to your phone.

 I tried deleting and reinstalling the U-verse app several times and I still get the same message .

 interesting because when I had Xfinity their app worked perfectly and I had DirecTV for a month & their app worked perfectly .  So let’s get these U-verse techie bozos on the ball and get this fixed !!
