Can't see the details of my recorded shows

I can see that I have recorded TV shows (NCIS, etc.) without a problem.  However, when I select NCIS, all I can see are 8 shows for which no information is available.  I cannot see the titles of the show, the date is was originally aired, etc.  Any ideas?

Thanks.

@baytownrose  I'd do a whole house reboot.

Unplug the RG and DVR and STB(s)and any WAP for wireless receiver(s), wait 30 seconds and plug the RG back in.

When that turns all green, then plug the DVR back in and wait until it reboots. Then if there is a WAP, plug it in and let it turn green.

Then plug in the STB(s), wait til it reboots and see if program info comes back.

Acronym Guide so you understand all terms: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/17724

Good luck 😉

Try rebooting your DVR.

Not sure that I completely understand your question @baytownrose.  Can you post a picture of what your recording screen looks like?  When you see NCIS (4) 11/15, for instance, that means that there should be 4 recordings of NCIS with the last one on November 15th, you aren't seeing a synopsis below, with details?

This is what I see, on such recordings, for Dr. Oz, for example.

Are these CBS-broadcast episodes, or are they episodes in syndication (or on a cable channel)?

Also, does it give a generic description of the series, or is it something like "(No Info Available)"?

Did you click on the Dr Oz show, that should go to a listing of all of the Dr Oz shows!

I wasn't the one with the issue.  I just provided my screenshot to see if that was what the OP was seeing.

@dhascall -- How do you have your shows with the (7) next to them? I have two different episodes of a show aired on two different dates and they're listed twice under the "by date" list.

This is what I've deduced after using the UV DVR for the last 8 years:  There are requirements to be met to have a series sorted together:  Series record, same channel, same day and same time frame.

I have 15 episodes of The Thin Blue Line (British comedy) grouped together.  All were recorded on PBS on Mondays around 11:00pm but I have one listed separately that was recorded on the same PBS channel but on Saturday.  Same show, same channel, same time but a different day of the week.

Anywho...this is my observation and conclusion.

They were recorded by Series record (3 red dots), in his case it's the daily Dr Oz program.   Only way they'll show up in a folder, 'orphan' (1 red dot) programs will be on a separate day as you've seen. 😉

Yep, @baseballisback, what Chris and Skeeter said.  Series Recordings flock together.

Ah. So because I put everything in manually, then I'm essentially doomed.

Oh well.
