Chanel guide
This is weird. When I'm using the chanel guide, and I'm looking at what's on on another chanel, when i hit the back button, it goes to some other random chanel on the guide. I have to punch in the numbers to go back to where i was on the guide. Anyone else experience this? It's really annoying.

Does "I'm looking at what's on on another channel" mean you pressed Info for that other channel? If so I don't think your problem is with the Guide. It's with the Favorites. It's a well known, 'er "feature" that the Favorites selection loses position when you exit the Info display and re-positions the Favorites list to show the lowest channels in your favorites list. It's been known and mentioned in these forums since the day the UI update came out late last year. Many complained, including me. But I don't expect it to ever be changed, or if it is, not before an annual UI update which seem to come out late in the year.
The Guide lists behaves properly as it always has. What ever show you have highlighted in the Guilde, if you do Info on it, and exit the Info the same show is still highlighted. So I see no problems with the Guide. Favorites behaved this correct way before that last UI update.
It's not clear what the UI programmers were smoking or drinking or thinking when they made this "improvement" to the Favorites. But it's extremely annoying when reviewing your Favorites to verify the scheduled recordings for the upcoming week like I do and to possibly pick up others (which I need to do Info for to decide if I want to record them).

Back about December 30 2016 I sent a private message to @ATTU-verseCare complaining about the "Favorites-loss-of-position" problem" and below is their response:
[bold emphasis is mine]
So I don't really expect this to ever be fixed because (a) it will probably be forgotten (written down or not) by the time they get around to doing the yearly update and (b) "it is working as intended", yeah right!
And like you, when reviewing the favorites list, I try to avoid doing Info as much as possible.
