change your tv apps please

I think your tv apps you have chosen for the dvr aren't any good. I would like to make a suggestion why not use apps like Amazon prime, Netflix, or Hulu+. I feel those would be more useful on my tv.

Those apps are available on a Smart TV.  I have a Sharp Aquos that has Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and others.

While I do agree that the UVerse apps are pretty lame, offering paid streaming services won't happen as long as ATT has its own version (On Demand).

You can also connect your computer or portable device to your TV & use the computer browser or tablet/phone app to display on the TV.

My computer has a simple HDMI connection & he ipad uses a converter cable to connect HDMI.

Even if you *could* get Netflix or Hulu via an AT&T box, considering Netflix would want their money *AND* AT&T would would money for allowing access via their method, I'm quite sure a Netflix connection via AT&T would be more expensive than just going to Netflix.
