Closed captioning CC3 (Spanish to English)
Trying to watch telemundo tv novela using the CC3 option which translates the closed caption to English, however it’s still in Spanish. Doesn’t matter if it’s standard or digital. Shows the option for English is available but when chosen it’s only in Spanish. I’ve used the CC3 option to watch many novelas with English subtitles, but as of August 2019 it doesn’t seem to be working. Also doesn’t work when streaming directvnow. It does work if you view it on your local telemundo station using antenna tv or watching the next day from the telemundo website.

We're here to help, @temo926!
What type of service do you currently have with us? DirecTV uses the CC3 system discussed, however it's primarily for viewing Spanish and ESL subtitles. To view English subtitles from there, you would need to use either CC1 or CC2. If you need assistance regarding this, let us know what type of DVR system you have with us, and we can help you out with the steps!
Aside from that, you may want to try updating your DVR's software to ensure it's on the newest release.
Let us know how this works for you- we'll be here to help!
