Error code QP1507, at least from the Android app, occurs if the app considers your device unsecure. This happens on rooted devices and possibly those running Xposed Framework. Apparently DRM constraints are applied on a per-content-provider basis, because some Live and On Demand content does play, although most does not. Xposed modules Root Cloak and No Device Check do not help with the core issue.

thank you reholli.

I have two asus nexus 7 (2013) tablets one of which is rooted and another which is not (recently because marshmellow doesn't play well with rooted devices).

I just installed uverse app on the unrooted tablet and the error code QP1507 was no more.

thanks again

You're welcome. Nice to see this verified by someone else with 2 devices.

No you won't, it's been an issue for more than a year.

Please stop patronizing people.  If you are not going to fix the dang problem just tell everyone already.
