Disappointed with AT&T U-verse TV "Program info" Parental Guidelines and Original Air Dates

This is a recurring problem with your information.

Who in the world is assigning Parental Guidelines on the "Program info" in AT&T U-verse TV???  They need to be re-educated or replaced.  I just watched "Space's Deepest Secrets - Inside a Monster Black Hole" recorded on Sat 8/27, 9:02 PM.  The Parental Guideline is TV-PG(V, S, L) and the Original Air Date was 08/27/2016

1 - Where was the Violence, S3xual Situations, and Language????  I am sorely disappointed.  Plus I had to change the "e" to a "3" after the "S" because it was a bad word.  Are the info people retired nuns?  🙂

2 - As I was watching, the scientists were saying that they were so excited and waiting to see what will happen in 2014 when the stellar matter enters the massive black hole at the center of our galaxy.  For Pete's sake - The program's credits show that the program was created in 2013.

Sorry Mr & Mrs U-verse but Charter does a better job with their information.

I did a bit of Googling, and it appears Space's Deepest Secrets premiered in 2016, so this is probably the correct OAD for the show you were watching. Now, the episode may have been borrowed from another show or portion of a show, or it's possibe the show was created years ago but just now was picked up by a TV station. Maybe it was a foreign program that aired in 2014 and now is airing in the US.

AT&T does not set these ratings or the air dates, that would be the Channel broadcaster or the content producers(AKA the people who made the show). Content Providers receive the guide data from each broadcaster and it is entered into the guide for your viewing.

For example if the Broadcaster decides to change the lineup for 1 day and have 1 show removed and replaced with another and did not provide the content provider the information or did not give the content provider enough notice to update the guide you as a customer will see the mismatch in information.

"A rating is usually set for each individual episode of a television series. The rating can change per episode, network, rerun, and country. As such, program ratings are usually not meaningful unless when and where the rating is used is mentioned."

If the rating is not stated at the beginning of the show then it is a generalized rating.

Please see this for inforamtion regarding the different Guidelines: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TV_Parental_Guidelines

"TV-PG - This program contains material that parents may find unsuitable for younger children.

Programs rated TV-PG contain material that parents or guardians may find inappropriate for younger children. Programs assigned a TV-PG rating may include some mild to moderate profanity, some s3xual content, suggestive dialogue and/or violence."
