Dropping programs by ATT-U-Verse

I am very upset with the changes in programming, Att Uverse is doing.

A month ago ATT dropped part of Nascar racing, Infinity series, on Fox Sports 1

Now ATT has dropped the NBC daytime show, Steve Harvey, save money, as they will not sigh an agreement, and broadcast these shows.

These are only a few of the shows I watch, can you imagin how many ATT has dropped across the board???????"???.  ATT U-verse can not just change the programming as there budget sees fit, in fact they charge us increases all the time.

I think its time - find a service that will not change the rules, just so ATT-U can save money.  Not an easy task, but I will find a way.  One hundred Seventy two Dollars is not a cheap package, and they are defaulting on there agreement.

Lets here from you.

I am also going to take this on Facebook and will get it out every ware on line.

You have no idea what you are talking about.  AT&T does not provide or change programming.  AT&T carries channels in it's channel lineup.  The channels provide the programming, and AT&T transmits to you whatever programming it receives from the channels.

Agree with TexasGuy...

The dropping of Paul Harvey would be a decision by your local TV station.  Fox Sports is responsible for sending U-verse the FS1 feed that doesn't contain the newer elements (Soccer, Xfinity series) that they've recently been advertising as being on FS1, because Fox Sports wants more money for the new feed with those things.

That is not trueBoth the programs I have mentioned are still being transmitted, both on satilight and cable.  I called ATT and their answer was they have not reached an agreement with these shows, so are not putting them on, blocking them. You should get your facts right!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations!  You are latest U-verse customer to receive inaccurate information from a Customer Service Agent.

Steve Harvey show is syndicated, not a NBC Network show.  See it here in metro Detroit 4pm EDT M-F on 1062 WWJ TV HD.  Call your local station to find out where Steve Harvey is, ATT is not blocking it. 😉

Edit:  This is the CBS O&O channel in metro Detroit.

Its Steve Harvey, and ATT-U-verse, has decided not to pay for certain venues, they are still being broadcast, just not on U-verse, How is that right?  We were promised certain networks and there programing, not to be de selected at there discretion to save money for Att.-Wait until your show gets hit, if Steve Harvey, a daytime network show can get bounced off of U-Verse, any show can, at there discretion, show is still being broadcast on dish.

Sorry, yes, I said "Paul" and you were talking about "Steve."  However, otherwise, what I said stands.

What channel did Steve Harvey appear on your TV before "U-verse took him off?"  And, if you don't mind, what is your zip code?

That is a decision made by the local network channels programming department and not by at&t. At&t signs agreements with networks not with certain shows. you should call or write the local network that aired that show.

Steve Harvey show is on NBC in the afternoons.  It was on at 5 pm until this monday.

Both this show and Nascar Infinity series have been confirmed in several phone calls to Att-U-verse, to be taken off because of contract negoiations that did not fly.

It also showed on my television, that I was to contact U-verse for info on to why I was watching English dart contest instead of the race, when they stopped broadcasting that from Fox Sports.

The race is on Dish Network, as is Steve Harvey.

ATT-U-verse must be removing other show at there discreation also.

@Warren1946:

Steve Harvey is a television program, not a channel. U-verse and AT&T do not negotiate contracts with or add or subtract specific programs. That is up to the channel that carries the program.

As far as the Xfinity races, that has been repeated over and over again. Please take time to read previous threads concerning that subject. Fox Sports 1 is not allowing Xfinity races to be broadcast by U-verse. Fox Sports is the entity substituting dart tournaments instead.

It would not be so bad if the dart tournaments were beach dart tournaments or broadcast on Cinemax late at night.

Warren1946: are you not reading the other posts on this thread? Your not being able to watch Steve Harvey is not an AT&T or U-verse problem. It does not involve any dispute with any channel. The channel you watch chose to no longer show the program.

As far as Fox Sports 1, take time to read the other threads on the subject. Any of the many repetitive threads will give you the information you seek concerning this matter. Hint: it is a dispute concerning carriage fees that were determined at the beginning of the contract between AT&T and Fox Sports, but now Fox Sports wants to change the terms mid-contract.

I just pulled a schedule for next Monday at 5 PM... OVER THE AIR.  Your local NBC affiliate (WPTV) is running a news program.  It's the same for that time slot on Dish.  And every other provider.

I might suggest, though, that you check channel 29, WFLX, the Fox affiliate at 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
