EASY REMOTE APP

Is the uverse easy remote app down??? My app wont connect to the recievers and i deleted the app to reinstalled and i cant find it then i just tried to use the control on the uverse app and it will bot work tried the chanel 9903 and it has my saved info so im wondering  its down

Having same issue where the receivers are not seeing the gateway yet set top boxes are working, wifi is working, and I am able to stream live tv through the app.. it worked this morning now it's not working but now my gateway has airtie active and bandsteering active when we were told in the field that it was being put on hold due to these issues

I am having the same issues. Remote functionality worked this morning but no longer does. I've rebooted everything and reinstalled the app and still no connection. Hello AT&T?!? Would love to figure out what's wrong with this. By the way, it would also be great if in the "troubleshooting" area of the app you actually addressed troubleshooting the app. Thanks.

I'm seeing the same thing in the u-verse app "U-verse wireless gateway not found" rebooted gateway no change.

I have an iPhone and an iPad, and the same problem is happening on both. It's very frustrating and requires using 2 remotes, one to access the schedule and the other to control the TV…

Please let me know if you figured it out? I have the same problem and tried all the steps. I can't use my U-verse iPhone app to control the tvs. It started last night.

It would at the very least be nice to receive some sort of acknowledgment from AT&T that they're aware of the problem and are doing something about it…

I am having the same issue.  I get the error message on both iPhone and iPad.  Have tried deleting both apps and reinstalling and have reset the gateway to factory settings.  AT&T?????

Hi. Just saw your post and i just share some TS TIPS for this common issue. Im an att uverse tech support I'm just fixing some stuffs on my mom's tablet. Anyway, IF YOU GOT THIS MESSAGE ON WIRELESS RCVR, THESE ARE THE BASIC TS STEPS;

1. Unplug the power cable of the WAP (THE SMALLER TOWER NORMALLY ATTACHED TO THE MODEM) for 10 secs and plug it back in.

2. Then go the wireless rcvr unplug its power cable but leave it unplugged for about 3 mins (while allowing the WAP to completely reboot)

3. Assuming the rcvr is ON, just wait until the TV shows the pairing instruction then press OKAY on the box( some times it will automatically just fix the problem without doing this step)

*if the pairing is successful, RCVR will reboot and the go back up and running. Or, it'll show the same exact error message. If unresolved, proceed to step 4.

4. Reboot the MODEM, wait until its back up then reboot the rcvr. If unresolved, step 5.

5. MANUAL RCVR FIRMWARE UPDATE. unplug the power of the rcvr fr EXACTLY 10 secs then plug it back in also for EXACTLY 10 secs. BUT THIS HAS TO BE DONE 4 CONSECUTIVE TIME OR UNTIL A GEAR ICON AND A PROGRESS BAR SHOWSHOW IN THE SCREEN. THIS PART MAY TAKE SOMETIMES SO PLEASE BE MORE PATIENCE. 😉

**If you have a 2nd wireless rcvr that is working just fine, then this rcvr is defective and may need replacement.

 

So please call us, 800-288-2020 and YELL TECHNICAL SUPPORT 😂😁✌twice on the recording to get a hold with us. And please be kind to us please please hahaha... I love helping people resolve their problem at home. HAVE A NICE ONE AND DONT TEXT AND DRIVE!
