The easy remote app on my iPhone closes when I hit the speak button. Any one know how to fix. It worked yesterday

Hi @Stuart

Can you please try restarting your phone? If that doesn't work, you might need to remove the app and reinstall it. Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Dmitriy

Did both but the app still closes when I hit the speak. Worked before I updated to latest iOS upgrade

Does anyone know how to get the attention of the developer of the U-Verse Easy Remote app for the iPhone.  With the latest update, the channel guide no longer works properly, meaning I cannot change channels from my iPhone.  If I filter for HD channels, it works properly.  If I unselect that filter, the app sets the channel guide to yesterday's date and no programs are found.  The < and > buttons do not work, so I cannot set the guide to the current date.  I tried reporting the problem to AT&T technical support and after much frustration with the technicians, I was told to post a review at the App store.  There are a ton of reviews there already complaining about the horrible update and I doubt the developer is paying any attention or it would have been fixed or reverted by now.

Hi @Bit_Fiddler,

That is not good to read. First we need to know what troubleshooting you have attempted. Our teams will ask and in some cases, the troubleshooting has resolved the issues.

Let us know!

The problem started when I updated the app to the latest version through the app store. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my iPhone, to no effect. I have also confirmed the app still fails after updating to IOS 10.3. I have enabled diagnostics feature through the settings option. The Guide function is what is not working properly. If I simply call up the guide, it shows me the correct time-of-day half hour window, but for yesterday's date. The > and < controls are non-responsive. If I press the date/time slot, I will get a menu to pop up to select the display guide "on now", morning, afternoon, or evening. The correct date is highlighted at the bottom. Pressing "on now" and the apply button returns me to the time slot for yesterday. There is no other troubleshooting I can do that I am aware of.

Hi Bit_Fiddler,

Are you using the stock iOS firmware or are using a modified iOS firmware? This has been known to cause issues and is not a supported device.

I am using the official IOS 10.3, downloaded from Apple.  I have not jail-broken the phone and the AT&T U-verse App is the latest version (2.0, dated Jan 30, 2017) downloaded from the Apple App Store.
