Referencing your information would go a long way in arguing your point.
I'm not doubting it. I just need to know where you're getting your numbers.

According to the Wall Street Journal, "AT&T reported a profit of $2.99 billion, down from $3.13 billion a year earlier; revenue grew 19% to $39.09 billion. While the DirecTV deal boosted revenue in the latest quarter, related costs cut into profit."

You have made multiple posts saying the same thing in a user forum. You have the option of staying with uverse or going to another provider. Make your decision and move on.

There's a big difference between the truth and the truth as YOU see it.

Maybe the 'truth' you see, but realistically every provider does the new user discount, then put you on regular price deal.
For me, I got a $200 check for getting Uverse TV/Internet initially, but always paid regular price. Eexcept geting $20 then $5/off for 6 months in different periods (didn't ask for either, they were offered after TS problems).
Then got $50 reward cards twice for going from u200 to u300 and back to u200 in a couple months (Detroit Tigers spring training games on MLB Network). Finally a $20 reward card for upgrading Internet. 😉
