Favorites List on the Guide
Is there a way to set it to where the favorites lists are the only thing shown when you hit the guide button? Like with Dish Network, you could set "Favorites List 1" (or whatever you named it) as your main guide. From what I've found, UVerse keeps switching back to the guide with all channels.
There are channels that I don't care about seeing and I hate having to sift through them or switch to my favorites list every time. I was just hoping there was a way to make the favorites list the main guide.

@lbrown2007 It's just easier for me and others to hide all the channels you have no interest in here: menu>options>channel options>hide channels, then make sure you SAVE.
Only downside is it must be done on each Uverse unit. I had Dish b4 Uverse and used the Favorites there, but here it's a hassle. 😉

Ugh.. going through 800 channels to do that? That's a bit more of a hassle than switching the guides every time
oh well, I have been spoiled by Dish with the ability of setting favorites as your guide.

@lbrown2007 - One button access to a favorites guide has been requested & ignored for the seven to eight years U-verse has been available.
If you really, really want it, you will have to do it yourself. If you get a Logitech Harmony Smart Control, you can progam the guide button so that a short, light press sends the IR sequence to navigate the menu & display the favorites guide. You can program a longer press to display the full guide.
Or, just about anything else. There are many advantages to the LHSC remote. All you need is the need.
