Only affects Nascar Infinity series, new programming to FS1 or any Fox channel.

Sprint Cup is on FS1 Sunday as it will not be affected as it's not new to a Fox channel, Fox Network stations paid for Sprint Cup, so it'll be on FS1.  The Camping World Tuck series will not be affected either, had been on Speed (Fox owned) for years b4 it became FS1.

Although marketed as a relaunch of Speed, Fox Sports 1 was contractually considered a new channel—due to its change in scope from automotive and motorsports to mainstream sports, Fox was required to reach new deals with providers for them to carry the network.

At first, Fox sought a higher carriage fee as well, estimated at 80¢ per subscriber (more than triple the fee of 23¢ per subscriber that Speed had commanded; by comparison, ESPN pulls in fees of approximately $5.00 per subscriber, the most expensive fee of any pay television network).^[11][17]

Concerns by providers over the increasing costs for cable and satellite services for their customers (largely believed to be partly due to the higher fees commanded by certain sports channels) resulted in Fox backing off charging the 80¢ per subscriber rate, instead charging the same 23¢ rate that those providers paid to carry Speed.^[18][19]

I paid for FoxSports 1. ATT can't make deal with Fox so you run Dart games????!!!!!  Are you kidding??????

Well hello there @anobody - you already have Fox Sports 1 (or Fox1 as you call it).  Please check channel 652/1652.  Do you even subscribe to U-Verse? 

The only thing that you are not getting is live NASCAR Xfinity races.  This deal was FOX's call.  FS1 and AT&T already have a contract in place.  Now that ESPN dropped NASCAR's second tier series, and FS1 picked up the first half of the season, they decided to blackmail AT&T into paying more.  This is not the first time that they have tried this junk.  I bet if you had a year long contract with a cable provider and a few months in, they started demanding more money, you would be hot.  AT&T is.  Now I do hope that FS1 and AT&T come to their collective senses.  Maybe we should call NASCAR and have them intervene.

Saying that "Darts is what we are given to show" is not true. AT&T has the option to show Soccer - they "choose" not to in their customers best intrest. They also added spanish channels to my package & raised my bill from $120 to $170 a month over the last five years - in their best intrest.

Maybe when NetFlix gets the contract AT&T will be the way of their Lucent Technologies.

What Spanish-language channels were added? I've got between U-200, U-300 and U-450 since 2008 and haven't seen any added other than when I went to U-450 which used to include ESPN Deportes (some areas still have ESPN Deportes.)

If it went up that much, I'm guessing you either raised your tier and/or had various promotions end. Call up and see if they can give you other promotions. The rates typically go up about $5/mo each year which comes out to about $25 over the course of five years.

I also doubt that Netflix will get any sort of contract to show live content. That's not what they're about and I doubt they have that capability.

This dart match is soo much more exciting than watching the US kick some German butt in soccer. Thank you AT&T...NOT!!!!!

AT&T used to be telephone only. Saying NetFlix/Amazon/U-Tube/HULU does not have that capability is saying that time stands still. Times will change & I will be able to choose to pay for the channels I want & not pay for Nickelodoen when I'm in my 80's. I'm wondering if AT&T will be that flexible by then... or be the next "AOL"

Did not used to have these Spanish programming channels and don't want them. Been a customer for 20 years - uverse for over 5 years.Yes - the bill jumps every six-eight months. Just UVERSE U200 is now $120 without the $42 internet & taxes. It was less than $100 after temporary discounts when I signed. Now I have something called a "County District sales tax" on top of "County taxes".
But it does not account for the steady uptick on prices, while cutting programming. Can I choose my channels yet? The technology is available.

Those are local stations.  They may even be invoking must-carry to force U-verse to carry them.
