Hallmark Channel?
I keep seeing commercials for a new Hallmark series......I haven't seen anything pertaining to that channel since Uverse stole it from us 😞 is this a cruel taunting joke to Uverse subscribers or is there a glimmer of hope we maybe our awesome channel back???????

It's been gone since 2010 and no rumors of it coming back. They are just demanding too much per user that ATT won't buy in to paying an overprice for it. 😉

Hi @arich24 - no need to start a new thread as there an existing thread with 700+ replies right below.
At any rate, no cruel joke. Hallmark buys ad space on Network TV and AT&T isn't allowed to remove it. Just like Sonic restaurants and Casey's General Stores - we see TV ads for them all of the time but it would take me an hour or two to get one.

How do I let ATT know that the reason I will not move to ATT from Comcast is because they do not carry the Hallmark Channel. A good portion of the movies we watch are Hallmark made for TV movies and shows. We have had Comcast since August, 2013 and tons of problems so in August. 2015 when our contract is up we will be moving but not to ATT unless Hallmark is on the lineup. I don't want to go to one of the satellites but will have no other choice.

There is no need to let AT&T know. They have been well aware of the situation since September 1, 2010, when Crown Media, the owners of the Hallmark channels would not allow AT&T to continue showing the two channels due to a contract dispute between the two entities.
According to long time poster, dhascall, the ball is in Crown Media's hands while they decide to take up AT&T's offer. Complain to Crown Media, instead.

This is a subscriber to subscriber forum, we have no "pull" in getting AT&T to do anything - and in fact, they usually do not even listen to current subscribers as they have made some decisions that make folks wanna go "hmmmm." I suppose one could send a private message to the escalation team at AT&T Customer Care, and someone will get in touch with you, but they may not speak to you, if you are not a current sub. U-Verse does have a channel request website, click here.
