HBO GO access
U-Verse does not come up in list of valid TV providers to access HBO. I'm paying for HBO but cannot access!

They are phasing Uverse out. Apparently this is another way to do that and push customers toward AT&T TV.

I think Bill has the right answer. It has nothing to do with U-Verse, but a lot of people who used to get HBO Go have been converted by AT&T/HBO to HBO Max. In most cases, you have to download the new HBO Max app. The good news is that there won't be a change in fees, but there's so much more stuff.
Unfortunately, HBO Max isn't available on Roku. It is available on Amazon Fire, but you have to sideload the app, whatever that means. It is available on a number of other methods, such as hbomax.com, Google Chromecast, XBOX, PlayStation and a number of mobile phones and tablets.
I get it via my 1000 Mbps AT&T internet connection. AT&T customers automatically get it when they subscribe to one of the highest tiers of service, such as 1000 Mbps internet, U-400/450 or whatever the highest mobile phone plan is.
If you subscribe to HBO through a number of other methods, you *probably* get it. If not, cancel your 14.99/mo service and then subscribe directly through HBO for the same price.
So yeah, I think you're "barking up the wrong tree." Look for an app called HBO Max, log in via the same way and that should work. If it doesn't, let us know.

Hey @jow3441,
We are here to help you login into your HBO. We sent out a notification to our customers on 7.17.20 that they will no longer be able to access HBO using the HBO Go as of 7.31.20. The HBO GO app was sunset and no longer available.
Here is how to access your HBO now. Customers with an HBO subscription can alternatively access the HBO Max app and http://sm.att.com/14d73c47 at no additional cost.
Let us know us know if this helps.
