Headphones and HDTV

So I have a VIP2200 AT&T Uverse box and a panasonic hdtv and I was wondering if there was a way to connect a pair of headphones the set up so that when noise around me gets load (I live in an apartment building near a construction site that seems to operate at the worst times) I don't have to turn up my TV to absurd levels?
