How do I change the view in the Guide to a day in the future?

How do you change the guide to a future day?  It's Saturday and I want to mark a program next Tuesday for recording.  I can get there by just holding down the right arrow and let it move through all the hours between now and then, but there must ge a way to jump to a future day.  ATT tech support --- even bumped up to a supervior -- insists that the guide only covers one day at a time and it is not possible to get new Tuesday on the prior Saturday.  But that's not right since it is possible by holding down the right arrow, but that's a pain.
