How do I set up watching my DVR recordings on my iPhone and Android pad

I have set my receivers to recognize my U-Verse Apps on my iPhones and ASUS pads. However, when I press "Watch", nothing happens; even when I am standing right in front of the DVR, receiver, modem and WiFi devices. Please tell me how to set up watching on my devices, while I am in my home.
