How do I stop interactive weather? I want to dactivate that sucker.
When I go to the weather channel, that alerts thing takes over the whole page. I try to 'x' out of it, but it stays anyway. I can't get rid of it. I tried deleting my town, but it won't allow me. It says I have to have a city to watch.
I hate it. Every time I watch the weather, it pops up and aggravates me.
Thanks for any advice.

I agree...it's a P I T A but you cannot de-activate it.
Hit the "Exit to TV" button (above the yellow 'A' triangle button) to get rid of it.

P I T A is right!!! I do hit the 'x' at top right but the Alerts remain and sometimes the other remains too. I'm not interested in viewing it at all. I just want to watch the dang weather channel in peace. If I wanted an app, I would have downloaded it or activated it myself. I just want to be able to watch that channel without that app popping up and taking over the whole screen. It's stupid and serves no purpose and aggravates the heck out of me.

Plus many times after the interactive pops up and after you exit from it, you still have to hit escape or you're frozen and can't change channels.
I imagine this is very confusing to older customers who can't figure out why they can't change channels.
