All of a sudden last night trying to watch a recorded program on (ion channel 468) on u-verse could not find the show.  Upon going to the menu it said I was not subscribed to this channel. I have watched this channel for years. There was no warning or explanation as to what has happened. Explainantion please.

What TV package do you have?

It's still on U450 but they may have moved it to a higher tier.

Channel 195 (ION) is on U-Family, U-200, U-300 and U-450 on the listing I retrieved last month.  It is not Channel 468 and I don't see anything there.

For me in Columbus, I get Ion Plus on 468. Oddly enough, it's the same thing as broadcast channel 51 for me. Both are available on my U-Verse lineup.

There is a Wikipedia article on ION Plus, showing it as being on 468 on U-verse.  But it's not on my guide.

Sounds a lot like the MeTV shenanigans.

Att has reduced the number of channels to make everyone want a more expensive bundle  truly not worth having

Please go on, @Phy.

What channels have you lost lately from your U-Verse lineup? There was a recent dispute with a channel owner resulting in the temporary loss of some broadcast channels, but this has since been solved. No provider is immune from disputes.

Ion Plus, Qubo and NBC Sports Network will all be sunset this year, as decided by the channel owners. They won't be available anywhere on any provider.

I am DISSATISFIED with AT&T U-Verse. All we get are paid advertisements and at least 5 commercials every 15 minutes. When we have a channel like IONP we enjoy you take it away.

You DO realize that AT&T does not control programming or commercial time on the networks, right?

As for ionTV....I still get ionTV in my market.

There's two different channels. Ion, in my area, is a subchannel and also available on channel 195.

Ion Plus was a different channel. For me, it was on 468 and 51. (I *think* it *may* be an extremely low-powered broadcast channel in my area.)

As of last night, 468 went off the air, due to the decision by the channel owner to end the channel. There was a message on a special channel for the past few days.

My channel 51 has since changed to... I think Bounce.

My channel 195 remains as-is.

Qubo, owned by the same company, was 328 and somewhere around 3061. This is now a new channel.

U-Verse had absolutely zero control over this. Ion Plus and Qubo are no longer available on any provider. (If they are, please post where.)
