Is MSNBC on the U-Verse and internet 1000 package?

I just signed up for U-Verse and internet 1000 and noticed that msnbc was not on my cable package (300).  Do you not carry msnbc?

Quoting skeeterintexas from March 9, 2018:

"MSNBC is available in both standard (215) and high definition (1215) and included in U200, U300 & U450."

Maybe uverse took it out their lineup, or more precisely your local network that carries NBC demanded att it be taken out of their lineup.  There are areas in the country that carry NBC where the local channels responsible for transmitting it are currently in contract re-transmission re-negotiations.  Your local network station may be involved with that.  So they try to hold back the channel as "hostage" to try to force att to give into the ransom (extortion).

If you are in such an area look up your local NBC channel and call them to ask why they are being so greedy asking for more than they deserve for a station you most likely can get free over the air with a TV antenna.  They are the ones holding the station up as hostage to make att cave in knowing user will blame att and not the station.  So far att hasn't given in.  Good for them.  If att gives in all other local stations around the country will take note and pull the same stunt when their contracts come up for renewal.  Of course the do that anyway.  It's a annual game.  Bottom line here is we all end up paying a higher bill.

I haven't seen any other reports of MSNBC being involved in the NBC dispute that's happening in some parts of the country but that's an interesting theory.

When my local CBS was lost a couple years ago, I didn't lose any other channel.

I'm in the process of resubscribing to tv (u300) package.  The potential absence of MSNBC, if true, is a big/terminal problem for me.  It was available in the past when we had u200.  Why isn't it listed now?  Any current info on the subject?  I don't want to be trapped into subscribing if MSNBC isn't going to be available for the duration.

MSNBC is on 1215 if you have the HD package and 215 if you don't.

thanks, I know it was there a year ago when i had u200. I just signed up for a u300 package but i wonder why they don't list it? I saw that there was some interest in deleting cnn & msnbc from subscriptions. I could do without fox and the other russian stations. But it looks like not listing msnbc has been going on for years. I still would like an at&t employee to explain why.
