Limited offerings on Starz and Encore
I currently only have 2 movies available on Starz and only 8 on Encore. All Uverse support was able to tell me is that they have no control over how many movies Starz/Encore make available on our televisions. However, there are dozens of movies avilable on uverse.com for these channels. There are also many more Showtime movies available online than on my TV. Is anyone else having the same problem?

@UMGOBLUE Think you might have forgotten to add ON Demand. It is what it is, ATT has no control on what can be shown. Just pick some to record Live and then you have a number ready for Your Demand.
And if your computer has an HDMI output, can plug it into the TV and watch those on Uverse.com too. 😉

Uverse is currently advertising on their website that the Starz series "Power" and the movie "Ant Man" are both available to watch OnDemand. Neither is available on my television. Any explanation for this? We pay good money to get the U300 service, and AT&T is advertising falsely.

Yeah? And whoop de doo, go to Comcrap, 30+yr king of On Demand. Maybe they are partly the reason Uverse does not have more On Demand offerings.

I downloaded the Starz app on my iPad and signed in with my AT&T acct. there are a ton of movies there. I should be able to watch them on my TV by using the AirPlay feature on my Apple TV.

Thanks for the information Beany. My big frustration is that AT&T advertises that content is available OnDemand when it really isn't.

Better read the fine print, I've never seen an ATT Uverse ad that truly lies, devil is in the details. Get our your magnifying glass and check the fine print.

I think it's more of a case that the fewer selections of OnDemand premium movies that are available, there's a better chance that one will pick a U-verse pay-per-view movie. It won't last much longer anyway.
Anyone know if DTV has a generous selection?
