Lost Channels - March 2017

Why should I have to lose the channels that I'm paying for service we need to get this worked out so that we can go back to watching and just some of the program that we were watching

This is totally unacceptable. I watch CBS This Morning every day as it's the only morning news show that's tolerable. Also, Survivor! I pay way too much to not have these 2 favorites available. How will I know how long this dispute will go? Any idea from past negotiations?

Anyone have a better company that doesn't do this (and is comparably priced, under $135 TV/Internet)? I will switch if this goes on much longer. BTW, contacted Uverse and got $10 off my next bill...not enough but at least it's something (provided I stay with them).

I did an online chat with At&t Uverse and got $10 off my next bill. That's not really going to make up for losing a favorite channel that I watch most days. I am considering a switch to another provider, but it is such a hassle.

They've been off-air since yesterday I believe because U-verse and Raycom Media (the owner of the channels) couldn't reach an agreement.

Will WIS, NBC, be added back?  If not I would like to know how to get out of our contract as this is the main channel that we watch.

What the h*ll, AT&T? Get it together, people, and solve whatever idiotic dispute you have that's keeping our NBC affiliate off the air. This is absolutely not OK, and was made worse by whatever intelligence-impaired individual in India I spoke with to try to find out why I could not get WMCTV. You AND WMCTV are making enemies of the people you depend upon, while you're trying to win your male superiority contest. Please get it back on the air and quit being fools about it. And I so appreciate being made to clean up my post. Yes, the word starting with "i" that refers to a "foolish or stupid person" is a "bad word," isn't it?

Really disappointed that waff in 35758 area is blocked. I will not have a tv in my home without that channel. Would love to know what U-verse plan is to work it out before Monday. You already took weather Ondemand channel 227. I will not convert to direct tv.

I want to know why my CHannel is blacked out on 1029 Fox.  I live in Vero Beach, Fl.   The webs sites said that only Ft Pierce Fl and West Palm would be effected by the Black out!  SOmething to do with more money on a contract!  That's for Uverse.

Trust me I worked for A competitive provider and this is not AT&T's fault. The local channels are greedy. It is them that cut him off and not Uverse I've been through this rodeo so many times that it's not funny.

It was Raycom's Choice to do this not AT&T. They try to extort more and more money per subscriber just to carry local channels that are free over the air. FCC regulations prevent a competitive NBC/CBS/ABC/FOX etc provider from being retransmitted. This has a lot to do with competitive advertising that would not be shown during the re-transmittal.

If you want to file the True villan in here fault your local station. They're the ones that pull the plug not AT&T, they could've chose to have their signal transmitted over the AT&T wire while the negotiations were taking place. This is a strong arm tactics to force AT&T to pay more money to retransmit their signal. AT&T would never stop transmitting a signal that was transmitted to them legally.

Soo....., since we are NOT getting the NBC channel, and Uverse is not paying for it during this period, I guess we'll get a credit on our next bill which will be a rebate for paying for something that we're not getting...Right?
