Lost Channels - March 2017

Why should I have to lose the channels that I'm paying for service we need to get this worked out so that we can go back to watching and just some of the program that we were watching

What is being done to compensate those of us who have lost channel 19?

Now they have dropped NBC, at least in Memphis. Again like the previous posts about CBS, Fox other outlets were able to negotiate successfully. What makes Uverse so special?  I've loved and supported Uverse service until now, GET WITH IT GUYS! I no longer recommend you and am starting to talk about your intransigence on Facebook.

I find it quite interesting that Uverse is having such a problem negotiating contracts with local stations everywhere. That says a lot about Uverse.
You're deleting channels, yet continually raising our bills. What's up with this?

Agreed.  I went to the smallest package this last time I renewed and picked up Netflix with no commercials.  So far I've watched it more than cable.  I mainly stayed with cable for the local channels.  If they took away all the selling, sports & religious channels I get, there wouldn't be that much left.  That's why it upset me so much.  I'm stuck in contract at the moment.

I couldn't get most local channels when I had Direct either.

They're showing this as solved now.  The complaint was answered but not solved.

This is not a solution to this problem, as the board suggests.  The timing is suspicious at best.  These negotiations arrived by surprise?  Coincidentally during the broadcasts of arguably the most watched sporting events of the year, The NCAA Tournament?  I think not.  The best "solution" I was provided a meager $10 account credit and a promise that they were "fighting for me."  Big business at its finest.

Two local stations have been removed from my Uverse service in Rocky River, Ohio; WOIO and WUAB. These aren't cable stations so both Raycom and Uverse should have no reason to fight over any agreements nor should there be any negotiations needed. Either the stations are returned soon or I'll be leaving Uverse and hopefully more customers will do the same. The greed is pathetic!!!

When does AT&T plan to have NBC back in my viewing program?  It's been almost a week now

I'm not sure how this is a solution? Removing channels. Didn't you (and the customer) sign a contract --- you would provide the channels outlined in your program guide and we (the customers) would provide you with payment for those channels. I am actively seeking new television service --- wanted to see how committed you are to providing me with the services you promised. You know, the ones I am paying for?

We are paying for the channel that carries CBS in our package. Is this going to be resolved soon or will we get a refund for the service we are not getting.

Will the dispute with Raycom over CBS be resolved before the NCAA tournament picks up on Thursday night or should I look for another provider to get the games?
