Lost TV in metro Detroit
Had a lightening strike, flash/bang, then tried to FF a recording a little later and it froze. Tried a reboot of the DVR and it would not complete and went to 'end client'. So, I rebooted the RG, clicked 'end client' as I knew it would try another reboot and nothing. The green link light would not light on the DVR.
He had me try a N-D Disaster Recovery, the gear and status bar came up, but no connection and came up w/ the red x, no numbers after. Then scheduled a tech visit 12-4p Monday.
Now when I unplug/plug in the DVR, the green link lite is lit, but won't complete the N-D Disaster Recovery it's stuck on. Arrrggh.
Internet works properly still.
Edit: Going to view online shows I'll lose if DVR is bad, they all require sign in to ATT Uverse and it fails and goes back to the sign in, huh?

Prem tech is on his way w/a 1225, agrees the 2250 is fried, stuck on a N-D Disaster Recovery and giving me the red x. Funny if I disconnect the ethernet cable, the link lite stays lit, not good news there.
Edit: Turns out there is a TV outage here now, but he left me the 1225 that I'll plug in when I get home from work tonite. He already put the 1225 on my account when he was driving here, hopefully the outage will be fixed then. He was very surprised about all the knowledge I have about Uverse.

No, don't think it was the lightening strike that did anything, it was the TV outage here that really screwed up the 2250. Plus w/the link lite on even though the ethernet is disconnected, something was wrong w/it.
RG is fine, internet works perfectly, hardwired by ethernet, plus Basic Talk is working OK too. Uverse TV is still out here, plugged the 1225 in and came up w/Uverse TV is out message.

Got it going last nite after work, got the update message when I plugged the 1225 in and clicked for the update.
After the reboot, I had TV back.
Now I still can't unlock some of the online programs (USA, FX), it goes thru this ATT page that says 'we're sorry, we can not process your request at this time'.
Any other provider I click, their sign-in pops right up, aarrggghh.

Well, finally got FX and USA unlocked using IE 11, the sign in came up and caught up on the 3 I had to watch.
