Low Audio, particularly Voices on Uverse - New TV + Sound bar Pkg
EDIT: 4/18/21: Something I tried yesterday may have helped (ie) the DVR Troubleshoot of 1-TV Low Audio froze at Spinning Circle but today the Volume does sound better at lower Vol in the 20's Vs 45 yesterday. Moving target, it would appear. Some Channels' Volume IS better than most but Overall TV Audio in general and with Sound Bar is a sad reality.
Uverse DVR in Great Room ... HDMI TO New Samsung TV (20w internal Spkrs) with HDMI (ARC) TO (new Samsung) Sound Bar connection + 2 Rear Spkrs = Low Audio, particularly Voices on Uverse. Some channels are louder but majority are unacceptably low, meaning I have to have Volume in the 40's. Voices sound Recessed often. Tried the ATT/OK button, Press 955, TV, and get Spkr Circle to 25, then back to ATT & Remote controls volume. No Change. Tried Gateway Re-Start. Tried Uverse Menu/ Help/ Troubleshoot Low Audio One TV/ said I had Low Audio and Clk Continue to FIX/ and it STUCK on Spinning Circle for 10 minutes / TV Off. Most Sound Modes (Standard, Surround, Smart are equally Low and the current DTS/X? is not great but a little better. Is Uverse just Not Good with (particularly) Sound bars / Internal Spkrs Voice Dialogue was often hard to understand? Any Other ideas?

U-verse hardware does not support ARC.

That is true however it’s not accurate .. the arc standard is dependent on the tv’s capabilities to support it. The U-verse receiver just passes the signal and the tv is charge of routing audio and video to the appropriate outputs
