miami heat

i have never understood when miami heat play memphis it is always blacked out?it shows on the screen guide channel 1722 and 1727 does anyone get those channels or is channels 1722 and 1727 not available??

If you live in that team's broadcast area, you'll get the games.

 

If you don't, you'll have to subscribe to NBA League Pass or their streaming option.

 

Are you in that team's area? If you get 722 and 727 (notice the lack of "1"), then you probably are...but not necessarily, as TV areas and blackout areas may not entirely match up.

 

Use the below link to ascertain your local team(s). Keep in mind that all games involving your local team(s) will be blacked out.

Blackouts can be a confusing thing. MLB dictates that I'm blacked out of Cincinnati, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. I only get Cincinnati and Cleveland on my TV. The only Pittsburgh games I get are those on national TV or if they're playing either Ohio team. In this case, I must watch the Cincinnati or Cleveland channel. Any time Pittsburgh plays a team like St. Louis, Boston, Washington or any other team, I'm blacked out of both broadcasts.

 

I'd imagine the NBA operates much the same way.
