Missing Channels on TV Listing (online & mobile)

I live in Indianapolis, IN. At the first of the year our Channel 8 which had aired CBS programs lost CBS and it moved to our Channel 4 -- all was good until just recently and now I can no long see either our Channel 8 nor our Channel 4 on the TV Listings for the PC/online U-Verse access not the mobil access.

The channels do however still show on the actual TV Guide listing.

I've serached around on the web looking for solutions and have not found any.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Thanks.

Cindy

@bsquare - I seem to remember - once upon a time - the grey out was the method used to filter out programs that did not meet the filter selection criteria.

Is it possible you have an active filter set on the guide??

I scrolled through the listings using your zip code and the only areas where I didn't see programming were the ALT channels where there was no programming scheduled. I'm familiar with the greyed out listings, but I didn't see any of them in your zip code. Does it happen more frequently if you're logged in versus just browsing? Can you give me the name of the channel that is grayed out?

Thank you! You have explained the issue. I clicked on the HD-only filter. HOWEVER, many of the programs that are dimmed are indeed HD. I would guess that the dimmed program is not marked for HD. Example: The Mets-Cubs playoffs on TBS yesterday was dimmed, but we know that is an HD broadcast. By de-selecting the HD button, all programs appeared readable.

@bsquare - You have the right idea, you need to take it furtherr to the right. It is very unclear, but Filter by HD is only he first step.

The word to the right of HD is another filter. Unless it says all genres, you will see greyed blocks.

What word shows now? Hover over for a pull down wher you can select - All genres.

Yes after selecting HD, I made sure it was set to ALL GENRES but still many of the programs are dimmed. While I only checked a small sample, in the cases where the program is dimmed, upon selecting it I notice the HD is not included in the description. It appears their software looks for the HD in the program description & dims out any where it's missing. At least that's the case for my zipcode 92109.

You have other filters checked on there.

If it is not designated HD on the program listing, it will NOT be included in the HD filter even if they are high definition.

Just the way it works.  It's not intuitive enough to know that a number of movies/sports will not have the HD on the program listing, be high definition, and to add them.  😉
