NFL Network & RedZone are gone
Can anyone, preferably from AT&T, tell me if NFL Network & RedZone are no longer being carried on U-verse? At 4:15pm today I tried to go to channels 1629 & 1630, but what I saw was a message saying “This channel is no longer carried” and there was a reference to TVpromise.org. First time I’ve ever seen that message. To me, that isn’t just that the NFL Network is offline with broadcast issues. It’s that U-verse has dropped those two channels. Anyone else have this issue or heard anything about it?

Wow. DirecTV has become such a lumbering pile of garbage they could be acquired by Dish Network:

I was hoping that there may be some headway made in the negotiations with July just around the corner and the NFL season heating up looks like I'm going to be jumping back to Xfinity. I'll miss the gigabit internet, it is truly awesome, however, my love for the NFL and RedZone is too great. Plus I'll get a discounted bill for 2 years which will save me a bit of money ($60-$130/mo depending on which package I decide on getting). This won't be without a few missing channels but they're mostly kinda watched anyway.
@Anonymous holy smokes!!! Dish getting DirecTV - It is akin to T-Mobile trying to buy Sprint. The switch in roles of buyer is boggling.

I hope that by the time games start Att will get this back on. I have automatic payment and never get any notices or warnings when they are dropping programs.

AT&T doesn't care about restoring NFL Network. These mega corporations are all about profit and greed. Every decision is made accordingly, without concern about customers. They are losing customers anyway as habits change. Given that reality they don't have any reason to believe that one network makes a great deal of difference.
When they pulled the plug on this one they waded through that nervous period immediately surrounding the NFL Draft. I mentioned that they were trying to charge me $99 for a home visit but as soon as I mentioned my anger at dropping NFL Network they changed the subject within 5 seconds. They literally went from matter of factly announcing $99 to saying, "There will be no charge, sir." I got a kick out of one of the dependable shills here jumping into this thread and proclaiming it didn't happen that way. What an ignorant slug. It absolutely played out that way. If I hadn't mentioned NFL Network the customer service representative would have upheld the same smug attitude and $99 fee.
But once they got beyond that small window on either side of the NFL Draft it is now business as usual of maximizing profit and looking toward another potential windfall. There will be more channels eliminated than anything meaningful added.

Why should I be punished because the NFL is failing? I haven't watched it since Kaprnick took a knee for a second season. They should charge him the extra fees

They are allowed here but we will never subscribe to it. ATT seems to be phasing out Uverse . Looks like comcast or streaming for us if they do eliminate it.

I just subscribed in June 2019, all of your literature said the NFL network was part of my plan. I even mentioned it to your salesman. I’m very disappointed the information ii revived was wrong.

Not surprising at all the literature still claimed NFL Network in June. It's like gas prices...rapid to rise and slow to fall. If AT&T had a new acclaimed network in its lineup the advertising would have been immediate. But in terms of getting rid of something they don't mind at all if wrong impression lingers for a while and perhaps attracts a customer here and there.

This is not a solution. This is an explanation. ATT charges the same I get fewer channels. That is not a solution for me. I would not have signed on with U-Verse if NFL Network was not a part of the package. If the network is not restored by football season, I will leave ATT for TV, internet and phone.
