NHL Network on U-verse
Just signed up for U-verse, U300 package. Where can I get an answer from AT&T administration in regards to as why the NHL Network is only available on U-verse in their highest (most expensive) Package U450. It is one of the four major sports like MLB Network, NBA TV and NFL Network. It at least should be made available in the optional Sports Package (after all it is a sport oriented theme channel). I don't believe that there are any other sports channels in U450 that a subscriber cannot purchase in other U-verse packages. In addition, I can't recall of any other programming service that has the NHL Network only available in their highest (most expensive package). Come on AT&T......What the "PUCK" is going on with not including the NHL Network with the other sports theme channels?

How can one go about finding as to when the NHL Network contract is up for renewal? If U-verse at one time didn't even carry the NHL Network then there's a good chance that that could happen once again. Very strange that AT&T's other two programming services (DirecTV and Directv Now) don't offer the NHL Network ONLY in their highest (most expensive) package. Also, as a new U-verse U300 subscriber I also discovered that I am not receiving any of the Stingray Music channels. Guess I am discovering some of the shortcomings of U-verse very quickly. As a positive however, I am receiving locals from two different markets, is that common with U-verse?

So what this comes down to, is that if one wants the NHL Network (a sports channel) available ONLY in a predominately premium movie package from U-verse it is going to cost me an additional $82.00 a month for me. (My current U300 price $60.00 as compared to what's listed on my account to upgrade to U450 $142) Being really not a movie fan, I think I'll pass on those terms, something is not right here. This is no way to sell your product. I am certain that there are others out there who would like to have the NHL Network, but in no way are willing to have to pay an extra $82.00 a month for it.

Uverse needs to get Center Ice! I had NHL network on my Enhanced DirecTV package for the last several years. Why is it so difficult to subscribe to an out-f-market hockey game package...AT&T OWNS DIRECTV! Figure it out or I will look elsewhere.

I'd suggest a streaming stick like a Firestick or Roku with the NHL app. Not only would it be the same exact content, but you can also log in to any internet browser and watch games.

I totally agree. AT&T administration why? I mean it’s not like we’re asking you to include it in your bottom package. Maybe you could offer it as an add-on. I really like AT&T and have been a loyal customer for over 20 years but with all the choices on the market today maybe it’s time to find a better option.

Yes, by all means. Att has been steadfast in their package structure for well over a decade and I don’t see this changing.
