Has NHL NETWORK been added yet?

The NHL Network has not been a part of the U-verse lineup since October, 2011. This is a peer-to-peer forum made up of mostly U-verse subscribers just like you. We would not have any inside information on whether U-verse plans to return the NHL Network or not.

The other contributors on the forum are AT&T employees who would usually not have any inside information such as you are seeking.

ATT dropped it when a rate increase was going to go into effect.  Obviously it was too much w/o having to raise rates or split it off as a separate channel (NHL Net might have objected). 😉

Well, hopefully, with Directv now under the same roof, that AT&T gets the ball rolling and brings NHL Network back in the lineup. I wouldn't want angry Uverse customers pestering me about why NHL Network is on one part of the business and not the other. And don't anybody give me the lame excuse that they are separate entities despite being under the AT&T banner. They are two sides of the same coin and the customers deserve the best the best programming available. No matter if they have a dish on their roof or a residential gateway sitting in their living rooms.

PoppieSr and Davspence, I have an idea. I don't know if I am correct but I am speculating that the way the channel survey site works is a channel is added to the U-verse channel lineup based on how much interest it has from U-verse subscribers. What you two should do is if you are on Facebook, you guys should post the URL/link to the channel request site that dwinth was talking about on the NHL network's official Facebook page, hockey news pages, entertainment news pages, and sports (in general) news pages with a message telling people that if they are U-verse subscribers and want the NHL Network back, then request the NHL Network via the channel request site. You can also type "U-verse NHL Network" in the Facebook search bar and look for Facebook status updates for news articles that talk about the NHL Network not being on Uverse (I know they may be a couple of years old but the people in the comments section may still reply.) and tell the people in the comments sections to request NHL Network at the request website. Also, if you two are on Twitter, type "U-verse NHL Network" into the search bar and look for tweets that show people complaining that U-verse does not have NHL Network anymore and reply to the tweets by replying with the URL/link to the channel request website and a message telling them to go to the site and make a channel request for NHL Network. If you two do these things then the NHL Network might get added to U-verse again because AT&T may see that there is a lot of interest for the channel. I almost forgot to say this but you should also tell your friends and family who are U-verse customers to go to the channel request site and make a request for the NHL Network

On November 18, 2016, the NHL Network returned to AT&T U-verse following a five-year hiatus: Channel 1638.
