No Basic Family Movie channels

I have Uverse Family, but there is very graphic Porn. My son was visiting me, and we were flipping through channels (no basic movie channels with AT&T Uverse Family, but only shopping channels..) so I had 3 free mnths of HBO, Cinemax...and embarassingly...as we were searching for any movies at all, very graphic porn shows were showing on HBO / Cinemax..etc. I suppose that's not a part of the basic Uverse Family package, though there are no basic movie channels at all - whatsoever - with the Uverse Family pacage. Not even family channels. Only about 800 shopping channels...music channels....etc. I'm ready to either tell someone to "make me a deal...make the 116.00 that I pay a month worth it, or cancel altogether!"

@hi @Cwise124.  Pardon me for a second, while I adjust my eye roll. 😉   Yeah, I'm probably being a bit of a smart alleck but if you had properly adjusted your Parental Control settings, nothing risque would have shown.   BUT maybe your idea of "graphic porn" is different from mine, as I do not feel HBO, Showtime or Cinemax (Skinemax) shows "graphic porn."  Skin maybe and some fake acts but not what most reasonable adults would call "graphic porn."

Not sure what you mean "Basic Family Movie Channels."  What channels are you refering to?  Please list five actual channels that actually exist, that fit the bill?  Please.  You may find more in the U200 and 300 packages (such as Starz) but adjust those Parental Controls.

800 shopping channels?  Where?  If you would like to actually talk to someone about finding a package that works for you, I would recommend that you send a private message to the escalation team at AT&T Customer Care, and someone will get in touch with you.  Best of luck.

HBO & Cinema only show 'adult' movies AFTER primetime, generally 9:00pm.

I went and looked I found that there were over 140 channels for Family package. There are quite a few G and PG rated channels. Yes there are a lot of Shopping/Commercial channels. We all get them. If you push your menu then options then channel options then Hide Channels. There you can remove any channel from your guide. There is also a Parental Locking of channels if needed

You can look at all packages here http://www.att.com/u-verse/shop/?shopFilterId=100001#fbid=UyqsTda3EaE and compare

@Kong57 - I will say that there are not a lot of movie channels on U-Family but the OP should have researched that first.  Their post was more of a rant-fest, if anything, lol.
