one of my u-verse remote controls does not power up receiver or play dvr

Obligatory question with remote problems; did you try a new set of batteries?

You have 3 ways to replace the remote,

• Call tech support (800-288-2020) and ask for a replacement but they will probably want to charge you $20, i.e., the att store price.  But sometimes you may get a tech in a good mood, or didn't read their script and think they know the procedure and they might replace it for free.  Might be worth the phone call anyhow if you consider $20 worth the wait to get through to them on only a possibility.  Note it's always usually less then $20 with choice 3.
• Order it yourself from the att online store for $20.
• Purchase it cheaper from amazon, ebay, or other places.

The att remote model numbers are the s10, s20, and s30.
