Parental Controls on HBO app when logged into U-Verse

Hi! So, I have a U-Verse sign-in that stems from my dad’s cable in order for me to sign into apps like HBO GO. I got onto this app this morning, and it says that my parent account has set up parental controls for shows above TV-14. My dad didn’t do this, and he wants to know what he has to do to change it or even just take the parental controls off of my account completely. Thanks!

Thanks for reaching us @kaitlynnicholej,

We can assist you with turning off the Parental Lock feature.

You can change parental controls for HBO GO within the app, we'll walk you through the steps.

Open the HBO GO app and sign in, be sure the primary account holder does this (sub-accounts can't set parental controls)
Tap the Menu button (in the upper-left), and then tap Settings>Parental Controls.
Enter the PIN
Tap the TV or Movies rating that you want to change for each account individually.
