Putting Hd TV on Hd Stations only

If u have an Hd TV set on 108i, can you get u TV to go only to hd station and cancel out Lower station. My husband has eye problem and can't turn channels quicker enough for had station, too long.

I do appreciate the problem of getting an HD channel number to "take" it can be a problem for anyone.

 

No, at&t does not have a solution.

 

Yes, a possible solution is a flipper remote. It works by programming it for only the channels you want to watch. The disadvantage is that the channels are selected only by up/down buttons. If the llist of channels is relatively short & it is acceptable to scroll for the next channel, it should be a great solution - eliminating all frustration.

 

It still must transmit IR for the full channel number to work only on the channels programmed. This means aim must be maintained while sending the four numbers. If waving is a problem this remote will not solve it.

 

Also, U-verse can be fragile accepting the IR signal. If this is a contributing problem I have a solution for it.

What you can do is hide all of the SD stations.  This could be a solution that won't allow him to select those channels while looking at the guide.
