Red X

We remodeled our house and have been out for 6 weeks. We are back today and tried setting up the U-verse box for the TV. All it shows is a large Red X in the middle of the screen. I read some posts and watched a couple of YouTube videos about it. We tried the Reboot, but it does not go to the Reboot process. When it comes back on it just comes back with the Big Red X
