Removing AT&T U-Verse from my service package
I am a new customer with AT&T. I would like to know if I can drop ATT U-Verse from my service plan? I can't watch tv. I have been having big problem with that serve and do not want to pay for a service that I cant use. .

Hi, @djbiz1.
You are able to cancel any services you have with us at any time, but cancelling the services you have before you finish the service agreement may incur an early termination fee.
With that being said, we would hate to see you leave! Let us know what type of service issues you're having, so we can try to help you here.

The type of service issues I'm having is the continuing loss of U-Verse TV service. This is a reoccurring thing. I do not feel that I should have to pay an early termination fee for cancelling a services that is not working properly. I signed a one year service agreement with AT&T to provide me with a reliable internet, phone and TV service.
I'm not receiving reliable TV service. I have had AT&T Internet, Phone and TV for just little over a month now and during that time I have had two U-Verse service interruptions that required a technician to visit my home. I will hold up my end of that service agreement only if AT&T hold up on their end of the service agreement by providing me with reliable internet, phone and TV service.
However, today I had a AT&T Technician name Tytler who is a OUTSTANDING person and technician. Tyler, explained to me why I was having these service interruptions. The problem was a defective U-Verse TV receiver box. Tyler replace that box with a newer receiver box and restarted the U-Verse service and my TVs is working again. So, I'm not going to cancel my U-Verse service at this time. However, please be advised and make note that if this problem with U-Verse service interruptions happens again I will cancel my U-Verse service and I will not be paying any early termination fee. This is not a threat, it's a promise.
