Sorry, your AT&T U-verse account is not authorized to view this content.
I watch FoxNews EVERY SINGLE DAY online (their website). Suddenly yesterday - in the middle of what I was watching - it went out. A black screen came up with "Sorry, your AT&T U-verse account is not authorized to view this content." Why is that?
My bill is current. All software (OS) is current. I logged out of the Fox website and logged back in. I discovered it also happens on streaming devices (Samsung TV app, Roku, etc).
Is AT&T dropping more and more features every day because I feel like they are. Their quality of service goes down every day.
I'm looking for the final straw to cancel ALL of my AT&T services so if this is the case (that they're dropping features) just say the word. I've already canned AT&T internet because it was HORRIBLE. I had the *fastest* AT&T internet available; yet my new internet is 12 times faster. Crazy.
It's really a shame because I've been an AT&T customer for over 30 years.

I was able to access Fox News Go using my Uverse credentials. So that means that it nothing sinister. That's the good news. The bad news is that there's something going on with your situation.

Thanks for your response, skeeterintexas. It still doesn't work. Not from any computer (thought video.foxnews.com), nor the app from my phone or iPad. It doesn't work using my Uverse account, my neighbor's Uverse account, nor my sister's Uverse account (who lives in another state).
It's AT&T; and no offense, they are synonymous with sinister.
I have faith in my NEW PROVIDER which will start next week. Funny how AT&T could care less about this issue, nor the others I've called them for help on. Even more funny how they think the hardware/equipment they gave me 8 years ago is still 'current.' One more domino to fall and this 30+ year customer will never look back on the declining, subpar, over-priced services I've allowed them to provide for waaayyy too long.
My mother retired from AT&T/Ma Bell after a very, very long career there; and even she doesn't have a single AT&T service. That tells you something.

You know I’m beginning to think that the network providers are enforcing one email/account log in per household. I recall the time when cable networks were starting to open up to online/mobile streaming (before they began with subscription model)you could have multiple people from same PayTV account log in and stream (I knew of this because, I set up sub accounts from the main one for some of my friends to enjoy their programming since they didn’t have cable service. But now, most network apps are rejecting their log ins and will only take the main one.

That does kind of make sense, I guess. It seems like a lot of people give their passwords to friends, well-wishers, etc.
Someone could theoretically subscribe to the highest tier, sell their subaccounts for $35/mo and probably even profit. They'd essentially be re-selling an expensive TV package for less than the cost of an entry-level TV package.
Of course I have no proof of this, but I do see a lot of "does anyone have a password" messages. I assume that these passwords are given to friends for free, but I'm sure some could be sold.
