Spinning Circle

Lately I've been seeing the "spinning circle" (the one that appears when you launch apps) showing up frequently while just watching live TV or a recording. It will appear every 5 minutes or so, spin for a couple seconds, then disappear. It's becoming a distraction . . . has anyone else noticed this and is there a solution?

First thing to try would be a reboot of the device.

If it is the computer, reboot computer & RG.

If it is STB/DVR reboot those & RG.

Might as well do then all during a quite time (not recording or watching)

Might be from one of the apps from commercials that you can click OK and do something w/the ad.  Might be spinning up or off.  I've seen it intermittently. 😉

Did a STB reboot . . . no luck. If anything, it's happening more. And not just during U-verse promo commercials. I'll try the RG reboot next.

I have not changed modems. Did a RG reset this morning, still getting the spinning circle every 5 minutes or so. Guess I have no choice but to call customer service.

I only see it once every few weeks, click the ATT Uverse Care link in my signature, send the PM, explain your spinning circle situation.

 

Include your account #, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.
