Streaming Bally sports games on devices

I have the Bally sports Wisconsin package. I used to be able to stream live games on my iPad or laptop. Now I can stream on my TV or stream on my phone, but Bally does not allow me to stream on any devices. This is a recent change. Bally has said it is an ATT Uverse issue and wants me to confirm that my package allows streaming via app as well as TV channels. Anyone else run into this?

Yes, this thread is not private.  However, "he previous message " may be Private, and as long as the OP replies to that Private comment (look for the Private badge on the comment, accept no substitutes), he may be okay.

For what it's worth, today I was able to stream Bally Sports Content on a web browser for which the App gave me an error message saying I may not have access to the content.  Same login, same network, different result between browser and app.

i also can stream bally the last two days, now on google chrome but not on edge or firefox....

So I contacted bally sports on Thursday this last week. Seems like it is an issue on their end that they said are in the process of fixing. Whatever it is, is causing the apps to not recognize what region were in and just displays the “National” version for me. So essentially a code issue from them. They said on Saturday “We're aware of the problem and our team has started working towards resolving the issue. The team is currently working on a permanent fix and we will get back to you as soon as we receive any updates.” So a fix is coming just not sure when. 3rd time since they went to bally sports that an issue has happened. But hopefully it can be resolved quickly.

I contacted Bally Sports.  They replied by e-mail asking me to check things and answer questions I already checked and told them in the first place.  I just replied angrily to that effect.

I pretty much got the same thing at first and did the same thing. But I got to the point right away of it’s on your guys end because everything else I’ve done and tried, And you guys need to fix it asap. Somehow that got them on the case quick.

I confirm.  I disconnected from my TV Provider (AT&T U-verse) and re-established and was able to start watching a prerecorded game that wasn't available prior to doing that.

Yeah, at 1 AM today, I got this lovely e-mail from Sinclair:

Thank you for contacting Bally Sports.

We would like to apologise for the issues that you are experiencing.

Our technical support team suggested the below troubleshooting steps:

1. You have the latest version of our app installed on your device;
2. Clear the cache data from your device.
3. Uninstall and reinstall the app from your device.
4. Restart your device. It might sound simple, but sometimes that's all it takes to fix a bad connection.
5. If restarting doesn't work, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data: Open your Settings app "Wireless & networks" or "Connections".

Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

I wrote back to tell them that it had been fixed, but not by anything on this list.

I disconnected TV provider and signed in with U-verse member ID again and this time the iOS app picked up correct region and was able watch panthers and heat live.

ALL I AM HAVING SAME ISSUE!!!! All of a sudden AT&T wont give me permissions to any game anywhere on Bally's app! @ATTHelp whats the problem?!?!? We pay too much money for this crap!

That's all I know that a user can do to assist with the situation themselves, assuming that you're located in the correct region to be viewing the games you're trying to watch.

Beyond that, you will have to get ATTHelp or call 800-288-2020 for assistance.
