Could the poster actually mean that each television is out of sync with the other televisions? If I turn on two televisions, and walk from room to room, they will not be in sync with each other; sound or picture. The televisions, themselves, will be in sync with the picture and sound.
@dwinth I believe that's "just one of those things" with U-Verse being IPTV and all.
If I have two TVs on the same channel, because it's an internet stream, even if I turn them both to that channel at the same time, they'll be out of synch.
Interesting sidepoint: U-Verse HD is behind OTA HD (not surprising), but Hulu HD is behind U-Verse HD in the same house. This might not be surprising though since Hulu works entirely differently from IPTV like U-Verse.
During St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds games years ago, my cousin and I would call each other, and compare the video portion of my feed at Fox Sports Midwest for the Cardinals and her feed from Fox Sports Ohio for the Reds. The game would either be in St. Louis or Cincinnati. The Reds feed was always ahead of the Cardinals feed no matter which location.

Watch the NCAA tournament on TNT, TBS and TruTV. Whenever things are national, the west coast channels are always a few seconds ahead.
There's two feeds of Fox Sports Ohio. 1732 (Fox Sports Cincinnati) is always ahead of 1734, aka Fox Sports Cleveland.
