Trending feature has disappeared
The Trending feature from the Menu has disappeared. I used that option frequently when I wanted to find the channel for a program I knew many others would be watching. Our costs keep increasing, and our services keep decreasing.

Uverse Support - Please consider restoring Trending. It is very convenient to search for sports that I want to watch becuase everyone around me is probably watching the same game I want to watch.
I do not think it is good support to remove a feature that everyone uses without letting folks know and not offering a solution to replace it. I searched your website and there is no mention of this move.
You can do better

What the Freak? how irritating. i can only assume that neilsen or whomever claimed that "trending" skewed results or something.

I noticed it as well and use it quite a bit. Completely removed from menu features. Any response from anyone on what's going on?

I contacted tech support and after checking with a supervisor the tech informed me that Trending and Kids TV were discarded due to supposedly low usage.
Pretty annoying they do this without notifying their customers or even their own tech support people. The tech went on to ask if all my other U-Verse features were working fine and I asked, “How can I tell?” I thought the Trending feature was somehow broken not intentionally removed.

Thank you for that update. That's really disappointing if the person you spoke to was accurate! Sometimes these people you talk to over the phone within customer service don't have a clue....and you spend an hour to get an answer that may or may not be right..
That was one of my favorite features. What's next???????

U-Verse has been around for what, 10 years at least I’ve noticed. Their tech seldom changes, seldom improves. Then they take away features customers use. How does that benefit ATT? I had Comcast for a couple years before we moved, and despite the horror stories, their Tech was the best on the market. Being back with ATT and seeing them go backwards is disappointing.

I as well used trending often and thought something was malfunctioning and wasted a lot of time trying to figure how to get it up and running again. Only to find out on this forum it was removed without notice. Ridiculous..

C’mon ATT, we all used the trending feature. Please consider putting it back. I thought this was the best feature. Without it, makes me consider going to xfinity which has it.

Very frustrating. It was a feature that was helpful and so much easier to use than many of the other features that the menu tries to corral you into using I.e. “interactive”. I may be cynical but my guess is that this was done for at&t’s benefit and not because it was not being used as claimed. They also removed U-verse kids which was my kids favorite feature.
U-verse: 0 for 2 today. More reasons to cut out a tv provider altogether. 🤥😤

The fact that a good bit of people including me did the same thing trying to fix the problem by restarting, unplugging etc. because there was no notification makes this a much much more aggravating situation. Thanks AT&T I’ll never get that frustrating half hour back.

My folks and I (sepearate homes and accounts) loved the trending feature. Search doesn’t always work when I’m trying to find the local teams on tv. Bring it back please. We are wondering if cable is even worth it if we can’t find the shows we actually like.
