TV interference when washing machine is running

Very weird question, but I am noticing that when I run my washing machine, my tv receives a lot of interference and sometimes loses the uverse signal.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Not too sure what can be done for this issue.  I have tried a few tests where I would start the washing machine and the signal would have a lot of interference, and then I would pause the washing machine and it would go away.

Any advice?

How far is your uverse equipment (and/or the tv) from the washing machine?  Maybe the washer is not FCC part 15 complaint.  Can you move your uverse equipment?  You certainly are not going to be moving the washing machine! Man Surprised

My washing machines is upstairs and the diverse equipment is downstairs.  Opposite sides of the house.  Just purchased the washing machine a couple months ago and noticed the issue since.

Is the washing machine all mechanical controls or push buttons?  If push buttons maybe there's some defect in its circuit board.  I don't know what else to tell you.  Maybe call the manufacturer.  Being only a couple of months old it's should be still under warranty.
